A sweet friend once told me:

No matter what-dress for the day. Put on your lipstick, straighten your crown, and smile.

Over the years, I’ve learned she was right.

Sometimes strength looks quiet.

Sometimes, it looks like showing up when you’re tired.

Sometimes it looks like faith.

Sometimes it looks like grace.

And sometimes…it looks like a tube of lipstick before your walk out the door.

A small reminder to carry yourself with confidence, dignity, and joy-and to meet the day with your head high and your heart open.

A smiling woman stands outdoors near a pond with a sunset in the background. There is a white, off-road vehicle and a house with a porch behind her, surrounded by trees and pink roses. The image contains text about finding peace, power, and purpose through faith and real estate.

Mankind’s First Housing -

From Eden to Today

A scenic illustration showing a large glowing tree at the top of a waterfall, with a winding road leading through a suburban neighborhood with houses, trees, and a construction site, all within a lush green landscape with mountains in the background.

My prayer is that wherever you call home - whether on acreage, by the water, in a small town, or the city - this devotional will remind you that home has always been part of God’s story.

May you find your piece of heaven on earth there.
